ItsNotUs Breeding Strategies

Learn efficient breeding techniques to create powerful dinosaurs

ItsNotUs Breeding Philosophy

At ItsNotUs, we approach breeding as a science. Our methods are designed for maximum efficiency and predictable outcomes, allowing us to produce superior dinosaurs in less time than other tribes.

Our Breeding Principle:

"Quality lineage management leads to predictable mutation outcomes and superior dinosaurs."

Setting Up Your Breeding Operation

A successful ItsNotUs breeding operation requires:

ItsNotUs Tip:

We use a color-coded light system above each breeding pair to indicate mutation status at a glance.

The ItsNotUs Breeding Process

  1. Enable mating on both parents
  2. Wait for the mating bar to fill
  3. Collect the egg (or wait for live birth for mammals)
  4. Incubate the egg at the appropriate temperature
  5. Raise the baby by providing appropriate food
  6. Imprint on the baby for stat bonuses

Advanced Breeding Techniques

Stat Inheritance

Offspring have a 70% chance to inherit the higher stat from each parent. This means if the mother has high Health and the father has high Melee Damage, the baby has a good chance of inheriting both high stats.

Lineage Management

We keep detailed records of our dinosaurs' stats and mutation counts. Our naming system includes key information like mutation counts and primary stats.

ItsNotUs Naming Convention Example:

Rex-H425-M12 = Rex with 425 Health and 12 mutations

Giga-M480-F = Giga with 480 Melee and clean female

Efficient Mutation Stacking

To efficiently stack mutations:

Imprinting

Imprinting provides significant stat bonuses to bred creatures. To maximize imprinting:

ItsNotUs Secret:

We schedule our imprinting sessions around server save times to minimize the risk of rollbacks affecting our progress.

ItsNotUs Breeding Calculators

We use these formulas to plan our breeding program:

Mutation Chance

Each baby has a 7.31% chance of getting a mutation, which means approximately 1 in 14 babies will have a mutation.

Stat Calculation

Baby stats are determined by:

Base Level = 1
Wild Levels = Sum of inherited wild levels
Tamed Levels = 0 (for bred creatures)
Total Level = Base Level + Wild Levels + Tamed Levels

ItsNotUs Tips for Efficient Breeding

Time Management

Plan your breeding around your schedule. Some creatures have long maturation times that require attention over many hours.

Stack Breeding

Breed multiple females with the same male simultaneously to increase your chances of getting mutations.

Effective Naming

Use our naming convention that includes stats and mutation counts for easy identification.

Organization

Keep your breeding area organized with separate pens for different lines and stages of development.

ItsNotUs Breeding Achievement

We once bred a line of 20 mutated Rexes in just 3 weeks, with an average of 35 health mutations each.
